Have you ever wanted to literally watch paint fly before your eyes? Well now you can as Art Battle is headed to Campbelltown.
If you are not familiar with this global event, it all started when Sean Bono and Max Bode wanted to bring the spirit and community of rap battles to the art world. The first battles were live alley and junkyard competitions between artists, with artists voting to declare the winner. The artists and audience loved it, and Art Battle was born!
As Art Battle grew in popularity, the competitions became performances, and the live event series began to attract notable art and culture seekers in New York and beyond. These early events allowed Champions to emerge and took the best of the best on an exhibition tour of global cities. Many of these global tour cities grew Art Battle event series and communities of their own, allowing a true tournament of live painting to evolve.
Join in on the fun either as a spectator or as an artist (if you can find that inner Picasso in you), for an electric Saturday afternoon full of live art entertainment.
Help vote to determine the Winner as artists battle the clock & each other in 3 fast-paced rounds. All artwork will also be available for auction during this incredible day of community and creation.
For further event information or if you would like to register to participate as an artist, head to artbattle.com/artists.
